Staffordshire bull terriers found

Member of public comes up trumps

Ealing Borough Police would like to thank the general public for their help in finding the ogs pictured below, which were stolen from their 14 year-old owner whilst they were being walked last week. They were found in a park in the Dabbs Hill area of Northolt, and the suspect has not yet been found.

The offence took place in the alleyway beside Tintern Court in Green Man Lane, West Ealing at 12.15 on Thursday 17th February 2005. The West Ealing boy was walking his 5 month-old cross breed Staffordshire Bull Terriers through the alleyway next to Tintern Court, Green Man Lane when another teenager approached him and asked if he could look at the dogs.

The suspect is described as a white male, approx 15-18 years old, 6'00, who was wearing a long dark coloured coat with the hood up.

The victim gave the suspect the lead, but once he had a hold of the dogs the suspect told the victim to go away. When he pleaded with the suspect not to take his dogs, the suspect has then threatened to stab him and left.

Shortly after the incident the victim who on route to the police station located some police officers and reported the incident. The officers then searched the surrounding area for the suspect and the dogs but there was no trace.
