The Giant Coarse Acting Festival
Friday 24th and Saturday 25th November at The Questors Theatre
The Art of Coarse Acting was written in 1964 by Ealing resident and local theatre member, Michael Green.
It's a humourous look at amateur drama and the people who take part so where better for it to be staged than our own Questors Theatre?
Friday ( 24th) and Saturday (25th) will see mayhem take to the stage; expect sets to collapse, props to break, actors to go missing, doors not to open, lines to be forgotten and characters limping with both legs at the same time.
It's a competition to find the very best 'Coarse' production with promises of two nights of 'hilarity, madness and mayhem'.
Michael Green is now 90, but has written a new piece for the event, and features in a promotional video for the festival.
It is being held in the Judi Dench Playhouse on Friday and Saturday, from 7.30pm. Saturday is nearly sold out, but on Friday admission is free.
