Local Photographic Group Holds Competition

Ealing and Hampshire House Photographic Society contest open to all comers

On 13th September the Ealing and Hampshire House Photographic Society (which meets every Thursday at 8pm in Ealing Town Hall) will be holding a digital photographic competition, open to all members of the public. By making this an open competition they hope to encourage local people to join a lively and friendly photographic society, and help improve their photography.

To take part first you need to attend the Entry Night which takes place at Ealing Town Hall on Thursday 6th September at 7.45pm. Choose up to three of your own favourite digital photos (prints cannot be accepted) and save them onto a USB memory stick or CD or DVD. Images should be in any of the following formats: .jpg or .png or .tif and should be saved as: your name, an underscore_, picture title. Example: Fred Bloggs_Tulips.jpg The photos may feature any subject and must be your own work

All the entries will be judged on the 13th September. The images will be projected onto a screen and assessed by a panel of judges. Cash prizes will be awarded for the winner and the judges' favourite images. All competitors are welcome to join the Society.
