The London Week of Peace was launched in Haringey in September 2001 as a response to local community safety concerns.

The purpose of the event will be to bring the local youth (ages 16-25) community together and raise awareness of the danger of the knife and gun culture. Our aim is to raise money for an anti-voilence charity and inspire young people to achieve their goals in life with positive role models.
The event will be an informal gathering that will feature music artists, dance acts, poets, motivational speakers and three major fashion shows.
