Ealing holds first ever open air film event
Ealing’s first ever open air film event, ‘Films on Broadway’, is taking place over two nights on the 4th and 5th September in the grounds of the Ealing Institute of Media, at Ealing & West London College.
The event will showcase the creative talent of Ealing’s media industry, featuring work from the College, Thames Valley University and the Met Film School. Two classic feature films, The Italian Job (with Michael Caine) and Top Gun will round up the evening’s entertainment.
Paula Sayer, Director of the College says: “This is a great way for people to see how much talent there is in Ealing and a great way for everyone to enjoy themselves”.
To support the event, local restaurants have banded together to provide a range of discount meal offers, while Virgin Active and Tesco are providing some on-site movie treats.
Chairs will be provided, however numbers are strictly limited so people are advised to arrive early and to bring a rug and a cushion but no food or alcohol.
