Brentford Festival - The Vikings Are Coming!

Boston Manor Park, Sunday 6th September

It took 12 weeks to plan the first Brentford Festival in 2005 so it is not surprising that this popular event now takes 7 months to organise with so many commercial and charity stalls wishing to position themselves in Boston Manor Park, Boston Manor Road, Brentford, TW8.

There are more exhibitors registered than ever before and, with just days to go – are praying for a warm dry day!

Each year musicians are invited to perform – the response this year has been so great that many bands have had to be turned away even though an extra stage is planned for the walled garden. A variety of genres is promised to accommodate all tastes.

As the park is on the border of Ealing and Hounslow the Mayors of both boroughs will officially open the event at 12.00 noon from the main stage.

New this year will be a Viking re-enactment, Pimms bar in the walled garden, pony rides in the meadow and a children’s zone near the dog show. Back, by popular demand will be kayaking on the canal. Please check-out the website www.brentfordfestival.org.uk for the programme of events for this Sunday, 6th September.
