Or at least tame your wild things at the Bunny Park on Sunday 22 July
Feed the goats, pat the sheep or even win a chance to become a zoo-keeper for the day! These are just some of the activities that will be on offer at the Brent Lodge Animal Centre Summer Fun Day on Sunday 22 July.
Ealing Council’s Animal Centre is home to a wide variety of animals including monkeys, reptiles, spiders, sheep, goats, rabbits, exotic birds, mongooses and many more. Entry to the centre is normally £1 but will be free as part of the Summer Fun Day celebrations.
A huge range of activities and competitions will be held throughout the day including:
meet and feed the goats
pat the guinea pigs
guess who laid the egg competition
giant board games
talks by the zoo keepers
face painting and much more!
Animal Centre Manager, Susie Perry, said: “The Animal Centre Summer Fun Day will be the perfect day out for true animal lovers, especially children. It will be an opportunity to get up close and personal with some of your favourite animals, as well as learn about how they live and the different ways we look after them.
“Our capuchin monkeys have a new enclosure and visitors to the Summer Fun Day will be the first to see them in their new home. We’ll also be offering 25% off our animal adoption fee. By adopting an animal, you to help to cover the cost of providing food and shelter for your animal throughout the year and we give you up to four free passes to the centre so you can visit and keep in touch with your animal.”
