Broken valve affected supplies in the W5 area
People waking up in parts of Ealing have had to cope without water, or noticed very low pressure this morning.
The W5 postcode area seems to have been most affected.

According to the Thames Water Live map of incidents there is a burst main at W5 3SH and repairs are underway.
Thames Water say they are investigating and have sent a team to the area, they believe it has been caused by a broken valve and apologise to those affected:
'' We’re sorry to those people who have no water or low pressure this morning. We’re investigating what’s caused this to happen but suspect the problem is with a valve which controls water pressure. A team of specialists is heading to the area to provide extra support to the engineers who are already there so we can get supplies back to normal as quickly as we can.”
Update: As of 12.30pm Thames Water say ''Just to let you know the water supply problems in W5 have been fixed and supplies are back to normal.''
