Police believe 18-year-old was set upon by gang who fled on mopeds

An 18-year old is in a critical condition after being stabbed by a gang on moped on Saturday night in Northolt.

Officers were called to Newnham Close at 10.30pm on Saturday. The 18-year-old victim was found with stab wounds and rushed to hospital.

A spokesperson said," "He is in a critical condition but he is stable. At this early stage, it is believed that the victim was attacked by a group of males who left the scene on mopeds.

"The victim's next of kin are aware."
