Liberal Democrat Councillor Gary Malcolm joined the hundreds of volunteers to support the runners at the Ealing Half Marathon on Sunday 29th September.

Gary Malcolm was at the St Johns Church water station ensuring that the thousands of runners had access to water by handing bottles to those who needed them during the race.

Councillor Gary Malcolm said: “It was very inspiring to see the runners going past and cheering them on as they went past. I recognised many friends running and I hope we helped to motivate them to get to the end of the long run. The volunteers are a vital part of the race and many runners thanked those handing out water as they sped past. I might even consider running in the race in 2020. Am I mad?”
