Cyclist Injured in Accident on Uxbridge Road

Incident happened in West Ealing at lunchtime today

A woman cyclist has been taken to hospital by air ambulance after a collision on the Uxbridge Road close to the junction with Northfields Avenue in West Ealing.

The air ambulance landed at Dean Gardens shortly after the first reports.

Witnesses at the scene said it looked as though the woman cyclist had been badly injured.

Police and ambulance have been in attendance and traffic has been stopped.

According to TfL traffic news ( 2.30pm) the junction of A4020 Uxbridge Rd / Drayton Green Rd - is still closed off.

Police latest, ''At approximately 13:35hrs on Thursday, 12 October, officers came upon a collision between a lorry and a cyclist on The Broadway at the junction with Northfield Avenue in Ealing. Emergency services remain on the scene.''
