Emilia Fox To Open Twyford Summer Fair

Silent Witness actress at this Saturday's event

Twyford Summer Fete, the annual major social & fund-raising event, will take place on Saturday 16th June from 2-5pm come rain or shine.

It will be opened by the actress Emilia Fox, a local resident, well-known for her TV roles in "Silent Witness" & "Robin Hood". The occasion also incorporates the Junior Popular Music Competition which will take place in the Performance Centre at 3pm.

All 7 of the School Houses will be actively involved in running their own stalls, demonstrating their flair for imagination & enterprise, please come along to support them.

For the second year running the Fete is being generously sponsored by Gardiners Estate Agents, for which we are extremely grateful.

Thank you to those of you who have kindly allowed one of their boards to be displayed in your front garden advertising the Fete & Gardiners. Without your help the sponsorship could not have gone ahead.

A large number of craft stalls & games will be available to enjoy on the day as well as a barbeque, raffle, tombola, & stalls selling cakes, international finger food, local honey, pimms & strawberries, FairTrade items, books, games & DVDs.

A team from Nandos, Ealing Common, will be coming along with trays of yummy taster food.
