Ealing has bucked the trend as the number of traditional fireworks displays across London falls with several taking place in the area this year.

The Brentham Club is holding its annual fireworks event on Saturday, 2 November from 5pm to 9pm. Ten food stalls and children’s activities are open from the off with the display due to begin sometime around 7pm. A children’s disco runs from 5pm until the start of the display and then resumes at 8pm.

Doors open at 5pm, so arrive early to avoid the queues and make the most of the evening. With 10 food stalls and children’s activities kicking off right from the start, there’s plenty to keep the whole family entertained. Entry tickets, food, and drink are card-only, but you’ll need cash for the raffle and rides.

Tickets cost £12 including booking fee for anyone over 16 and £6 for children over three. A family ticket for two adults and up to three children costs £30. On the gate prices are £15 for 16+, £7.50 for children and not family tickets are available on the gate. Book tickets here.

The annual Ealing Cricket Club Fireworks Display is taking place this year on Saturday 2 November.

The ‘Fireworks Go Pop’ event on Corfton Road will see the fireworks let off to the accompaniment of pop hits and then, for the first time ever, be followed by a live DJ set.

The gates will be opened at 6pm and early arrival is advised to beat the queues. The display starts at 7:45pm.

There will be bars serving drinks including mulled wine and food stalls providing BBQ, pizza, samosas and curries. Candy floss and glow novelties will be on sale with all payments by card only. Rides will be available for smaller children.

A family ticket to the event (2 adults and up to 3 children) costs £30 or tickets for adults and older children are £12 and £6 for children aged 5-14. Children aged 4 or under get in for free.

Tickets can be purchased now and buying in advance online is cheaper and allows quicker entry on the night by being printed out or displayed on your mobile.

Any funds raised are for the benefit of Ealing Cricket Club, a registered charity, helping cricket in the community.

The club is on Corfton Road, Ealing (W5 2HS) just a short walk from Ealing Broadway and North Ealing underground stations. The organisers strongly recommended that you use public transport.

Trailfinders Sports Club is promising a night filled with entertainment, food stalls, bars, and, of course, an epic firework display set to disco music. The fireworks will light up the sky at 7:30pm, but prior to that there will be a laser show, stilt walkers, and fire breathers. It says that last year’s event sold out early, so prompt booking of tickets for the display on Tuesday 5 November is recommended. Adult tickets cost £10 plus booking fee and child tickets are £6 plus booking fee. Book tickets here.

Use of public transport to get to the venue is suggested and the venue is served by buses E2, E7, E9, E10 & 297. There will be limited pre-6.30pm parking available on site. Anyone arriving in cars after this time will not be allowed access and no refunds will be available.

You are asked to avoid bringing bags to the event to speed up security checks on the gate.
