A special dad joke themed comedy show is taking place at Picturehouse in Ealing, appropriately enough, on Father’s Day (Sunday 15 June).

This special event in the Filmworks development promises an afternoon of family-friendly stand-up comedy packed with the very best (and worst!) dad jokes. Presented in collaboration with Healing Comedy Club, Dad Joke Central features two showtimes: 4:00 PM and 5:30PM.

100% of ticket proceeds will be donated to SameYou, a vital charity dedicated to increasing access to brain injury recovery care and improving mental health support for survivors and their families.

The line-up includes:

Headliner: Tom Ward – A comedian featured on Live at the Apollo, QI, Roast Battle, and The Stand-Up Sketch Show. Tom has supported comedy giants like Ricky Gervais, Joe Lycett, and Jack Whitehall on tour. His latest show explores the joys and reflections of new fatherhood with "staggeringly impressive" material (The Herald) and "first-rate gags, impressions and absurdist humour" (Broadway Baby).

Opening Act: Callum Mackenzie – An award-winning comedian from the English countryside, known for his endearing and energetic style, bringing a fresh and puppyish enthusiasm to his observations about life beyond his village.

Support: Julia Eckhoff – A "quietly fearless" London-based comedian and improviser performing regularly across the UK and Europe.

Support: Jamie Jackson – Delivering dry, witty observations on the quirks of kids, relationships, and disappearing phone boxes, Jamie brings relatable and enthusiastically exasperated energy to the stage.

MC: Rudy Ilyas – The heart and soul behind Healing Comedy Club, Rudy will share stories that keep the energy high and the audience smiling.

There is no fixed ticket price but the minimum donation is £5 with the suggested amount at £10 and anyone paying £20 gets a wow. A small booking fee may apply via Eventbrite, but 100% of your ticket donation goes directly to SameYou.

Filmworks is a contemporary retail complex in Ealing, offering diverse experiences and attractions.

The Healing Comedy Club is moving to Drayton Court from Sunday 22 June with its new material show, and is hoping to launch an affordable and accessible pro comedy show on Thursday 24 July, though this date is not confirmed.
