Last year over 230 artists took part, exhibiting in 69 locations
January 23, 2025 Borough of Ealing Art Trail (BEAT) is back again this year for the ninth time and the organisers want to hear from local artists interested in taking part. The event aims to champion the creative arts scene within the borough by organising an art trail that explores the artistic talent that lives and works in the area, across two weekends in September. For 2025 the dates are 6/7 and 13/14 September. Last year over 230 artists took part, exhibiting in 69 locations across the Borough. If you live, work or study within the Borough of Ealing’s boundaries you are eligible to join the application process to participate in BEAT 2025. This opens on 1 February and will close on 16 March. Participation in the open studios event is non-selective and is an inclusive organisation. BEAT includes artists working in a broad range of media, including but not limited to painting; printing; textiles; sculpture; mosaics; metal work; photography; ceramics: jewellery and woodwork. For further information see the BEAT website. BEAT is a not-for-profit organisation, run by artists for artists, with a volunteer committee responsible for the administration, development and promotion of BEAT and its activities. It is funded from membership fees; advertisements in the event brochure; and sponsorship. It is not affiliated to any one art group or political organisation within the Borough of Ealing and will always aim to be a voluntary organisation run by its members.
