Investigation into Ealing School Dispute

Following protests over the dismissal of teacher at Southall school

The Governors of Villiers School have launched an investigation following a series of protests at the school over the dismissal of a teacher.

Students have been holding demonstrations after a member of staff was sacked at the Boyd Avenue school in Southall and Ealing NUT threatened to strike over alleged mismanagement at the school.

Shahid Khan, chair of governors has spoken to headteacher Juliette Strang - who is now on paid leave of absence - and says he has commissioned a thorough investigation into the events of the last few weeks.
