Detectives in Ealing are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed in Southall.

A 48-year-old man called police to Dormers Well Lane, Southall, at the junction with Uxbridge Road, just after midnight on Wednesday, 1 July.

He reported that he had been stabbed in the arm after an argument with a woman. Police and the London Ambulance Service attended and the man was taken to a west London hospital where his wound was treated.

A 34-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm; she was released pending further enquiries and is due to return to a west London police station on a date in late July.

Detectives are seeking witnesses who may have been in the area at the time of the incident to come forward. They believe there was a man and a woman involved. The victim had two dogs with him at the time of the incident.
