Police Officers Stabbed at Ealing Broadway

Incident at 3.30 this afternoon - man arrested

Two police officers have been stabbed in Ealing, west London, the Metropolitan Police have confirmed.

A BBC journalist on the scene said he had been told by a police officer and an eyewitness that two police officers, a Pc and PCSO, had been knifed.

Police said the officers were stabbed in the head and neck in Ealing Broadway at about 1530 GMT.

London Ambulance Service is taking casualties to hospital. A man thought to be aged 30 has been arrested.
