A man was knocked unconscious and stabbed in the leg in an apparent random attack in Southall.

Detectives in Ealing are appealing for witnesses to the incident on Sunday, 7 September at approximately 03:15hrs.

A 23-year-old man was walking along by the parade of shops near the Greenford end of Lady Margaret Road and was attacked from behind outside number 492.

He was knocked unconscious and when he came round he found that he had been stabbed in the leg.  

Acting Detective Sergeant Mark Hunt, CID at Acton, said: “This appears to be a random, motiveless attack. So I am appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident to contact me urgently before this person strikes again with a potentially more serious outcome.”
