Uxbridge Road was closed off this morning

Police and ambulance officers were called to the Uxbridge Road in West Ealing around 5am this morning to reports of a shooting.

The road close to Cumington and Broughton was sealed off for several hours as police conducted enquiries.

They say a man had received minor gun shot wounds and was taken to hospital.

There have been no arrests.

Officers from Operation Trident are investigating.
