The Council is expressing its sympathy to the people of Poland following the tragic air crash on 10 April and flying the Polish flag at half mast above Ealing Town Hall as a mark of respect.

The borough has strong connections with Poland - being home to one of the largest Polish communities in London and twinned with Bielany, a suburb of Warsaw.

Books of Condolence for people who wish to express their thoughts are being opened at:

  • Ealing Town Hall
  • Acton Town Hall
  • Southall Town Hall
  • The Customer Service Centre at Perceval House, Uxbridge Road, Ealing
  • The Council offices at 301 Ruislip Road, Greenford
  • Libraries throughout the borough

Prayers at the Council meeting on 20 April will also reflect the tragedy.
