Man Armed With Knife Barricaded In The Plough

Police negotiator on scene

Police were called at approximately 14:50hrs today ( Thursday, 23 October) to reports of a man armed with a knife having barricaded himself into staff accommodation above the Plough Inn, Northfield Avenue, W5.

The man is believed to be alone in the premises.

The situation is ongoing.

Officers including a police negotiator are at the scene.

The area around the pub has been taped off and the road closed off with several police cars in attendance.

A spokesperson from Fullers said (5.30pm) : '' We can confirm that the pub is currently closed due to an incident. We hope to reopen shortly.''
