Perceval House Car Park to Close Around General Election |
|
No access for over three weeks as it is hosting count centre
June 10, 2024 The car park at the rear of Perceval House in the centre of Ealing is to be closed for over three weeks around the time of the General Election. The council says this is to allow a marquee to be set up where votes will be counted. There will be no access from Thursday 20 June until Friday 12 July 2024 inclusive Some parking bays along Longfield Avenue will also be suspended, and signage will be on display to make motorists aware of these arrangements. The council advises that alternative parking is available at Springbridge Road Car Park (W5 2AB). Charges vary from 90p to £1.80 per hour (depending on your vehicle’s emissions) – all day parking on Saturday and Sunday is permitted for the same price as 3 hours and 1 hour respectively. It is free to park in this car park after 6pm every day. The car park is open from 7am to Midnight each day but be aware it is locked overnight. Additional town centre parking is also available in on-street pay and display bays and other nearby council car parks including Arden Road Car Park (W13 8RP).
