Man Threatening To Jump From Building in West Ealing

A large part of West Ealing - along Leeland Road - was sealed off this afternoon after a man appeared on the roof of a building apparently threatening to jump.

Ambulance officers were called to reports of an incident at just after 4pm today and police arrived shortly after.

The Uxbridge Road has been closed and police are at the scene.

News just in (21:00) Police say the situation has now ended peacefully. The man has come down from the roof and is being checked over by ambulance officers.

Local roads are expected to reopen within the next few hours.
