Learn more about recycling at local fun day
Ealing Council is inviting residents to a free family fun day to encourage people to recycle more and learn about the environment on Saturday, 20 March. People will have the chance to play games, receive giveaway goodies and find out more about the council’s refuse and recycling services at the event in Christ Church, New Broadway, Ealing, from 10am-6pm. Councillor Sue Emment, Cabinet Member for Environment and Street Services, said: “This is a chance to find out how the council is working to improve the environment and the services we offer to drive recycling rates up. Most residents already do a fantastic job recycling and we have seen our rates continue to grow, but there is still work to be done. Officers will be on hand to give help and advice and residents can let us know how we can do even better.” For more information about recycling visit the council’s website www.ealing.gov.uk/recycling
