A major new community space has opened at Greenford Quay, bringing together local businesses, food, drink and cultural events under one roof. Kiosk Greenford Quay (Kiosk GQ) occupies 7,000 square feet on the ground floor of The Glassworks, overlooking the Grand Union Canal, and is designed to capture the vibrant spirit of the high street in a modern setting.

The venue features an all-day café-bar run by Greenford native Karl, alongside a line-up of independent traders offering everything from Indian street food and elite burgers to wellness services, plants and body art. Founding members include Little Miss Delhi, Smash N’ Slide, drub, Inkspirationz, and Greenka.

The official launch takes place on 29–30 November, with a packed programme of free events. Visitors can expect a lively craft market curated by Trash & Treasure, live music from Hanwell Hootie, DJs courtesy of Voices Radio, and a photography exhibition by tlr_shutter.

Kiosk GQ has already hosted hundreds of residents for Bollywood dance classes, parent-and-baby drop-ins, karaoke nights and quiz evenings. The open-plan venue, with large windows overlooking the canal, offers plenty of space for laptops, socialising or simply relaxing with a coffee. Dogs are welcome, and the site is fully accessible.

Site manager Hassnain, also from Greenford, has overseen the busy events calendar. “Community and people are at the heart of what we do,” he said. “We’re excited to fuse together culture, planet and people to bring Greenford to life.”

Kiosk GQ is part of Kiosk.World, the team behind Lower Stable Street in King’s Cross. Since 2018, their model has supported independent businesses through curated retail and cultural experiences. A recent impact report found activities at Lower Stable Street generated £3 million in social value, highlighting benefits such as community engagement, creative inclusion and high-quality public spaces.

Greenford Quay is a fast-developing area with more than 2,000 new homes, public amenities and commercial space. Kiosk GQ is set to become a focal point for residents and visitors alike.
