A third man has been charged with the murder Geeta Aulakh from Greenford whose hand had been severed.

It's thought the 28 year old mother of two had been trying to defend herself during an attack on 16 November 2009. Her body was found in Braund Avenue, at its junction with Verulam Road.

Harpreet Singh, 20, of Elmwood Road, Slough, Berkshire has appeared at Ealing Magistrates' Court charged with Geeta Aulakh's murder.

Mr Singh is next due to appear at the Old Bailey on Wednesday.

Two other men, including Ms Aulakh's estranged husband Harpreet Aulakh, 31, have also been charged with her murder.

Mr Aulakh and Sher Singh, 18, have already appeared in court over the charge and were remanded in custody to face trial at the Old Bailey on 18 October.

A 29-year-old man questioned in December remains on bail.

Ms Aulakh was attacked as she walked to pick up her two sons from their childminder after leaving work at a community radio station.
