Fire Damages Postal Sorting Depot in Northolt

The loading bay at the Royal Mail's sorting office in Northolt, has been destroyed by fire last night (5/Nov/2012).

The blaze at the premises on Mandeville Road was reported at 16:26 .

Four fire engines attended - two from Northolt station and two from Southall.

The brigade said there was slight damage to the sorting office building, and four vehicles were also damaged.

Police have said the cause of the fire was not connected to any bonfire night activity.
