A little girl - thought to be 12 months old - is believed to have fallen from a window above a fast food takeaway near Northfields station on Sunday.

A police spokesperson said: '' Police were called at 1010hrs on 25 July to an address in Northfields Avenue by a member of the public to reports that a 12month old baby had fallen from a first floor window.

''The circumstances surrounding the incident have been investigated and police are treating as non suspicious.''

The road was cordoned off the road and ambulances were called to the scene.

A spokesperson from London Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a fall from height. We sent one single responder, an ambulance crew, a duty officer and the air ambulance.

"Our staff treated a baby and took the patient to St George's Hospital in Tooting by ground ambulance, escorted by a doctor from the air ambulance."

The baby has suffered minor injuries.
