A local charity has donated £2.5k to help promote other charities at the Brentford Festival.

The award from Ealing & Brentford Consolidated Charities (EBCC) means voluntary groups can take stalls at the popular event - which is held in Boston Manor Park in September - for a much lower fee than usual.

It's the third year that EBCC has substantially supported the festival.

EBCC is a major grant provider and has delivered over 30 grants totalling £1,010,000 since 2004 to groups and charities within the Ealing and Brentford area. These have included grants to the Log Cabin, BFC Sport in the Community, Open House and Ealing Abbey.
