Protest in West Ealing on Wednesday morning

Protestors will be taking part in a peaceful demonstration outside the Department for Work and Pensions office in West Ealing tomorrow (19th February).

The demo from 8 - 9.30am is part of a national day of action against ATOS which conducts assessments of benefits claimants on behalf of the DWP.  Ealing demonstrators will be joined by the local Unite Community Branch, Ealing Trades Council and disabled support groups. A minute of silence will be held.

Work Capability Assessments were introducedby the government in 2008 to determine entitlement to Employment and Support Allowance (ESA).
