Family and friends celebrate the life of Tim Kennelly
A funeral mass will be held at Ealing Abbey on Friday 12th February for 18 year old Tim Kennelly who drowned in Brazil. The guitarist from West Ealing had been on a tour of the country with heavy metal band, After Death when tragedy struck. Tim drowned after going to the aid of his band mate Leon Villalba, 21. Mr Kennelly, a bass guitarist, had recently joined the band after leaving Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School in Holland Park. His family have said Timothy will be remembered as a very gentle, generous, loving, popular young man with a positive outlook on life. They have asked boys from the Cardinal Vaughan choir to sing at the funeral and are inviting all who knew Timothy and anyone who wishes to pay their respects to attend the service. Friends have paid moving tributes on the social network site Lasting Tribute.co.uk. Fenella Morrish writes: ''
Tim was one of those unforgettable people. You met him, and you'd never forget him. ''Tim was a star, whose light shined brighter than most, he was the person that would put a smile on your face. His personality unmatched, his life lived doing what he loved. £18,000 has been raised to repatriate Timothy and Leon Villalba's bodies after the families discovered neither had insurance.
