A 35 year old man has been stabbed and robbed after locking up his shop in West Ealing.

The incident happened at the back of the Dallas Off Licence last Thursday (17/09) around 10.15pm

The man opened his white Mercedes Sprinter van, and was approached by the three other men who demanded money. After an initial struggle he was pushed inside the vehicle and driven off.

One man got out at Grosvenor Road, Southall whilst the other two suspects continued in the vehicle towards Uxbridge Road, Southall with the victim still inside.

Whilst in Southall, the suspects left the van and made off in unknown direction.

During the incident, the victim, from Wembley, received three stab wounds; two to his stomach area and one to the back of his neck. He was also robbed of £910 cash and various credit cards.

He called for an ambulance, and was taken to Ealing hospital for treatment. His injuries were not described as life threatening.

The suspects are described as tall, black males in their late twenties, wearing a characteristic long high visibility workman-type jacket.

TDC Andrew Vyvyan said:

"This was a planned, sustained and needlessly violent attack in which the victim was robbed, kidnapped and stabbed 3 times with a knife even though he gave his attackers no cause to. These attackers have shown that they are happy to use this level of violence and I would encourage anyone who knows anything about this matter to contact me”.
