Significant traffic is expected for the next three days in the Ealing and Acton areas as a result of the unplanned closure of the North Circular Road (A406).

Emergency repairs are required by Thames Water due to a burst water main and Gunnersbury Avenue is being closed between Uxbridge Road and Popes Lane at noon Tuesday 26 March.

Part of their work this Tuesday afternoon will determine how long the road will have to be closed for but Transport for London expect them to last approximately three days. The junction will remain open for anyone travelling along Uxbridge Road and all access in between will be maintained. Official diversion routes will be in place (see below) but delays are expected and you are advised to use other routes where possible
