Gala celebration held at The Brentham Club

Ex-MP Steve Pound helps draw the raffle at the event
December 3, 2025
The Log Cabin Charity, a long-standing organisation supporting children with special needs in Ealing, marked its 45th anniversary with a gala event on Friday 21 November at The Brentham Club in Pitshanger.
The evening brought together supporters, volunteers, and members of the local community to celebrate the charity’s achievements and raise vital funds for its ongoing work. Thanks to the generosity of attendees, the event raised approximately £25,099, which will go directly towards supporting children and families who rely on the charity’s services.
Highlights of the night included live music and a raffle drawn by former MP Steve Pound, who joined guests in recognising the charity’s contribution to the borough over nearly half a century.
Founded in 1979, The Log Cabin has become a cornerstone of support for children with additional needs and disabilities, offering safe spaces, activities, and respite for families across Ealing. The charity’s mission is to ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their circumstances.
Guests were treated to live music
Founded in 1980, The Log Cabin Charity has become an established part of the local community, offering inclusive play and support services to over 200 children and young people each year.

This site remains committed to providing local community news and public interest journalism.
Articles such as the one above are integral to what we do. We aim to feature as much as possible on local societies, charities based in the area, fundraising efforts by residents, community-based initiatives and even helping people find missing pets.
