Police investigation the murder of Bajram Luli in Greenford earlier this month have arrested and charged a man.

31-year-old Sabin Manda, of no fixed address, was detained on Thursday, 21 March on suspicion of murder and was charged on Friday, 22 March with murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

He appeared in custody on Friday, 22 March, at Westminster Magistrates' Court where he was remanded in custody to next appear at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, 26 March.

Mr Luli, who was aged 27 and from Edgware, was found injured in a car at Sudbury Heights Avenue on Monday, 11 March, shortly after 5.30pm. He was taken to hospital where he died a short time later.

Mr Luli’s family are aware and continue to be supported by specialist officers.
