A man has been arrested for a public order offence in West Ealing this Wednesday morning (9 March).

Police say they were called to Gordon Road at 10.40am to reports of a man threatening two men with a knife.

On arrival they found that a man in his fifties had been restrained by two men who were not the original pair who had been allegedly threatened.

They arrested the man and he was then taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening head injuries.

The police closed Gordon Road following the incident and it remained shut for much of the afternoon causing traffic congestion in the area.
