A park in Southall has been cordoned off after the discovery of a man's body.

Police were called to King George's Playing Field in Lady Margaret Road this morning (26 September). Paramedics from London Ambulance Service also attended and they pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Police believe they know the man’s identity but are awaiting formal identification. They have described him as being in his twenties. His next of kin have been informed.

The death is currently being treated as unexplained and enquiries continue.
