Halloween fundraiser for the Meadow House Hospice
There will be a less frightening area for smaller children

A family home in Northolt will be transformed into a House of Horror this Halloween for one day only.
Jason Cole and his wife Lisa started their haunted house in lockdown as a way of entertaining their eight children but attracted so much attention - 500 brave souls dared walks its labyrinth last Halloween – that they started using it as a charity fundraiser for Meadow House Hospice.
Elvis impersonator Jason said, “My mum passed away earlier this year and the hospice supported her at home which I really appreciated. She loved Halloween so I hope she will be with us in spirit on the night.”
He began work on his Halloween spectacular nearly two months ago and is using props, smoke machines, strobes, creepy clowns and live actors to scare the daylights out of anyone brave enough to go inside.
“The men are the worst ones when it comes to screaming,” said wife Lisa who recalls one dad refusing to enter a chamber room before insisting his son did.”
“We let parents decide if their children can handle it but have a separate area for the younger ones which isn’t so full on. It definitely isn’t for anyone with a heart condition.”
So what happens after fright night?
“We start preparing for Christmas straightaway. We like to go all out for that so we light the whole house up and have a Santa’s Grotto.”
The Haunted House is at 37 Kempton Avenue, Northolt, UB5 4HF. It is open from 4-9pm on 31 October only. You can donate on the door for Meadow House Hospice.
