Driver Dies After Crash on Popes Lane

Investigation underway following accident

A man's died after a car crash on Popes Lane in the early hours of this morning (22 August).

The driver, was found in the overturned Nissan Micra at about 4.30am. He has been named as Hassan Abdi aged 26 of Popes Lane W5.

Ambulance crew tried to resuscitate him at the scene and he was taken to St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, but died of his injuries.
