Man Killed After Being Hit By Train at Ealing Broadway |

The coroner has been informed
British Transport police have confirmed that a 45-year old man has been killed after being hit by a train at Ealing Broadway station. Police were called to the station lunchtime on Saturday along with the ambulance service and fire brigade. An air ambulance landed on Haven Green. BTP have just released this statement: ''I can confirm that a 45-year-old man from Chiswick died after being struck by a train at Ealing Broadway rail station on Saturday 30 January. ''The incident was reported to police at 12.13pm and is being treated as non-suspicious. ''BTP officers attended the scene alongside Metropolitan Police officers, the London Fire Brigade and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service. ''The train involved was the Heathrow to Paddington service. ''The railway line was handed back to Network Rail at 2.41pm. ''A file will be prepared for the local coroner.''
