Candy Cars fined for flytipping

The boss of a mini cab firm in West Ealing must pay a total of £450 after failing to supply Ealing Council with details of how he disposed of his businesses waste.

Mr Tek Kifle was fined £300 and ordered to pay £150 costs for not producing waste transfer notes or confirmation of a contract with a licenced waste carrier at Candy Cars in Kirchen Road, West Ealing.

Acton Magistrates heard that a formal notice had been served on Mr Kifle after Envirocrime Prevention officers had found fly-tipped rubbish from the company on the pavement.
