Avenue House School
Avenue House School is based in a Victorian building in an attractive
part of Ealing. It is co-educational, catering for children from the
ages of 3 to 11. The school opened in 1995 and over the intervening
years has grown to cater for around 140 pupils. It is a member of the
Incorporated Association of Preparatory Schools, a founder member of
the Independent Schools Council. Fees per term are £1300 – £2300
(2005-6).
Avenue House serves a predominantly Ealing-based community, with many
children living in the area around the school. It is non-selective and
does not test on entry at Reception age.
An Independent
Schools Inspectorate Inspection report from May 2004 describes it as a “growing, happy school with many strengths”, well-organised
and caring, with good standards of education and behaviour. It offers
an after-school care service and after-school clubs, and benefits from
strong parental support.
