Foodhall opens in the Westway Cross Retail Park

Dozens of local residents gathered at Westway Cross Retail Park this Wednesday (30 August) as M&S launched its new Foodhall in Greenford, showcasing its innovative range of food and drink. Store Manager, Milan Patel, and his 55-strong team welcomed their new customers into the retail park’s only food store following a ribbon cut at 10am.

Ealing North MP Steve pound was on hand to see the ceremony.

Milan Patel commented: “There has been real excitement amongst locals in anticipation of the new store opening and the turn out today has certainly proved that. Our customers will be spoilt for choice with the unbeatable range of food and drink we have in store, from traditional favourites and indulgent Friday night meals to show-stopping dishes perfect for celebrations and fresh pastries from our bakery.”

Larry Morris, a Greenford resident and the first customer through the doors, said: “It’s brilliant to see the new Foodhall now open in Greenford. I used to shop in the Uxbridge and Ealing stores but now this is on my doorstep I’ll be visiting two to three times a week to stock up on fresh supplies.”

Milan and his dedicated team say they will spend time getting to know their customers’ favourites whilst working hard to give them the very best service. Colleagues will also kick-start their fundraising activities for their chosen charity of the year, Cancer Research UK in Greenford, with the aim of raising money to support local people affected by cancer.

M&S Foodhall Greenford will have a ‘Click and Collect’ service, meaning can have M&S.com orders delivered to the store the next day and free of charge.

The new Foodhall is located at Westway Cross Retail Park, Greenford, Middlesex UB6 0UW and opening times are Monday to Saturday 8:00am – 8:00pm and Sunday 11:00am – 5:00pm.
