Ealing Central and Acton member of Parliament, Dr Rupa Huq, is scheduled to participate in next month's Ealing Business Expo as a panellist on the show's Brexit-themed panel discussion.

Tweeting from the @EalingBizExpo account on Tuesday, show organiser Carlene Bender from Contactus Ealing made the announcement: “With #Brexit an ongoing concern for businesses in #Ealing, we're delighted that local MP @RupaHuq has accepted our invitation to join the Brexit-themed *Contactus Business Panel* at #EalingBizExpo #23Mar Don't miss it”. Senior journalist at the Financial Times, Yuri Bender, will be chairing the panel.

The panel discussion is part of a two-day event spread across Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th March, and is billed as the “biggest and best business event in the borough of Ealing” with a mission to bring business people face to face to connect and network.

Set to take place at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel on Ealing Common, the Expo also features an exhibition of 80 stands, 5 speed networking sessions, 10 business talks, a Facebook #SheMeansBusiness workshop on Instagram skills, and a range of talks and presentations. The 2019 event attracted over 400 attendees in one day, and has an online reach of several thousand people.

Exhibitors and sponsors welcome

It is free for visitors to attend, and local businesses are invited to sponsor the event, or take stands (from £250) – not only to promote their own products and services, but to support the event and share the costs of putting it on. So far, sponsors include The Boutique Workplace Company, A2Dominion, Galactica IT Group, Attend IT, and Westmont Enterprise Hub at University of West London.

Returning exhibitor Frances Nwanodi, a Smart PA partner and support-sponsor of the Expo, shared her feedback about the event: “It surpassed my expectations. I just think it's amazing, there's something there for everyone.”
