Manzar Juma, aged 27, of 1 Hexham Gardens, Ealing, is to appear at Brent Magistrates Court today (30th December) charged with the murder of Ruby Love - a mother of three.

He had been arrested two days ago and has been held in custody since.

The body was found on Christmas Day in the Grand Union Canal at Bankside, Southall.

A post-mortem examination was unable to establish the cause of death of 23 year old Ms. Love from Harrow.

The death is being investigated by the Homicide and Serious Crime Command and an Incident room has opened at Hendon led by Detective Chief Inspector Tim Duffield.

Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed anything suspicious near the Grand Union Canal, Bankside, Southall on, or before Christmas Day.
