Details of home sales in W5 and W13

There seems to have been some loss of momentum recently in the local property market judging by the latest sales figures from the Land Registry.
Prices in the W5 post code area appear to have fallen slightly since the beginning of June and, unusually, the average price of a property in this part of Ealing fell below that for the W13 post code area.
The average price for W5 fell to £387,411 the first time it has dipped below £400,000 for some time. The average was also boosted by the sale of a house in Eaton Rise for £1,850,000.
The average price in the same period for West Ealing (W13) was £407,680. This is down on previous months but well ahead of levels seen at the same time last year.
The July data from Land Registry's flagship House Price Index shows a national annual price increase of 6.7% which takes the average property value in England and Wales to £166,798. The monthly change from June to July is an increase of 0.4%.
London was the region with the highest annual price change with an increase of 12.1%.
