Details of transactions in the local housing market

Detailed figures recently released by the Land Registry have shown that the average price of an Ealing W5 home was £483,321 in October 2007. This is slightly down on the previous month when prices topped the £500,000 mark.
In the West Ealing (W13) area the average price was £376,167 compared to £372,190 the previous month.
The average W5 property during the third quarter cost £447,054 up 16.6% compared to last year and 6.6% over the quarter, the highest average on record. Three houses were sold for over a million compared to 5 in the month of October alone. In West Ealing W13 properties were down slightly on the quarter but rose by 12.6% over the year.
