CEO lists it as one of the new locations in which it is opening
CEO of bar chain BrewDog has revealed that they intend to open a bar in Ealing. The multinational brewery and pub chain based in Scotland has plans to expand during the pandemic whilst other pubs and restaurants are closing. The Ealing venue, which would be wholly owned by the group and carbon negative is listed along 19 other planned new bars including ones in Shanghai and Paris. CEO and founder James Watt posted on LinkedIn, “There is an old Scottish saying that my grandmother used to tell me: ‘You might as well be hanged for a sheep as a lamb’. “It has pretty much guided our complete philosophy at BrewDog. It might also be why we have 20 new BrewDog bars under various stages of construction at the moment. Feels like such a crazy time to be expanding but, what the hell, we are going for the sheep.” We asked BrewDog for more details but they did not respond. Likely sites are the Dickens Yard development perhaps in the premises vacated by Charlotte's Place or the new Filmworks development.
