A beer brewing company in Hanwell is opening its doors to the public and hopes to raise money in memory of the murdered local teenager, Alice Gross.

Weird Beard Brew Co, is a craft beer brewery based within the Boston Business Park on Trumpers Way.

The brewers will be hosting two Open Days on Friday 12th and Sunday 14th December. Local residents and businesses are invited to sample the wares on site or take-away purchases.

Natasha Woolf from Weird Beard says:

''The brewers will be there and they will also run informal tours. We've organised for food to be sold at the brewery so it should be a really enjoyable afternoon with beer - fueled socialising and networking. In addition to the festive fun and in light of the Christmas spirit, we'd like to propose an opportunity to collect donations for Alice Gross' Memorial Fund since so many of the community will be here.''

Money from any draught sold and donations will be added to the Alice Youth Music Memorial Fund.
